Basketball Game Preview: Pitkin Tigers vs. Buckeye Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Pitkin Tigers challenge the Buckeye Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Pitkin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully Buckeye likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Pitkin didn't have too much trouble with Reeves as they won 74-56.

Meanwhile, Buckeye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Winnfield.

Pitkin is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for Buckeye, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
