Volleyball Game Preview: Highland Rams vs. Mountain View Mavericks

The Highland Rams will take on the Mountain View Mavericks in a tournament on Friday. Highland has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with eight straight losses, while Mountain View will come in with three straight victories.

Highland lost 3-0 to Rigby on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Mountain View earned a 3-1 win over Centennial on Thursday.

Mountain View got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-30, 25-14, 25-21, 26-24.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9-2.

Highland skirted past Mountain View 3-2 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Mavericks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
