The third road contest was the charm for Jordan, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Holy Family Catholic Fire on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hubmen / Jaguars have posted against the Fire since May 12, 2021.

Jordan's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Holy Family Catholic, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jordan will take on rival Mound-Westonka at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Holy Family Catholic is set to challenge their familiar foe Delano at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Fire 3.1, the Tigers 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
