The Lapel Bulldogs are on the road again on Friday to play the Indian Creek Braves at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Lapel got the win against Shenandoah by a conclusive 41-21.

Devin Craig had an outrageously good game as he threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns. Brice Burress was in the mix as well, providing Lapel with two touchdowns.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Lapel was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 439 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shenandoah only gained 197.

Lapel's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Rylie Hudson and Isaiah Priest. Isaiah Young was another major factor on D, making 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, while Indian Creek put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Owen Valley. Indian Creek breezed by Owen Valley on the road to the tune of 42-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Braves just coasted through the last quarter.

Malachi Mink was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Lapel's record is now 3-0. As for Indian Creek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
