Soccer Game Preview: Fox Creek vs. Silver Bluff

Fox Creek hasn't had much luck against Silver Bluff recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Predators will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fox Creek came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to Newberry. While losing is never fun, Fox Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Newberry are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Silver Bluff's offense. They came up short against Midland Valley on Wednesday, falling 4-0.

Silver Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Fox Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Fox Creek couldn't quite get it done against Silver Bluff in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Predators avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
