Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Clinton Find Success + How To Watch

Northeastern Clinton took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Lake Placid, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Bombers 3-2 on Thursday.

Northeastern Clinton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 15-25, 25-22, 25-18, 15-12.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Placid lost, don't look at Ellie Shipman. Despite the final result, she had six digs and six aces. Brooke Meyer was another key player, getting 11 digs and seven kills.

Northeastern Clinton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Lake Placid, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.
