Softball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Clinton's Winning Streak

Clinton and Marshall squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Clinton had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

With the defeat, Clinton broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-10. As for Marshall, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-9.
