After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lena, the Three Lakes Bluejays were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They secured a 44-40 W over Northland Pines. That's another feather in the cap for Three Lakes, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Three Lakes' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jenna Erikson, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Kailyn Fogerty, who scored 11 points.
The victory got Three Lakes back to even at 1-1. As for Northland Pines, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Three Lakes will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wabeno/Laona at 7:15 p.m. on December 1st. As for Northland Pines, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Rib Lake at 7:15 p.m.
