Basketball Game Preview: Prairie Pirates vs. Logos Knights

The Prairie Pirates will challenge the Logos Knights at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Prairie has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while Logos will come in with three straight wins.

Last Tuesday, Prairie ended up a good deal behind Kamiah and lost 62-44. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Kubs are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Logos was able to grind out a solid victory over Potlatch on Tuesday, taking the game 62-52.

Logos is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
