Knoxville Catholic proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Fighting Irish sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Knoxville Catholic found their leader in sophomore Mayela Rodriguez, who had eight digs and three aces.

Knoxville Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last two matches.

Knoxville Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Lipscomb Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

As of now, neither Knoxville Catholic nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
