Soccer Game Preview: Everest vs. Summit Shasta

The Everest Snow Leopards will face off against the Summit Shasta Black Bears at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Everest is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals last Friday, they were much more limited against East Palo Alto Academy on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-1.

Meanwhile, Summit Shasta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to East Palo Alto Academy. That's two games in a row now that the Black Bears have lost by exactly five goals.

Everest's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Summit Shasta, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1.
