Basketball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 59-47 to the Saegertown Panthers. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2021.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Saegertown, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwestern has already played their next contest (against North East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Saegertown will face off against Rocky Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Saegertown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
