Softball Recap: Lincoln Northwest Falcons vs. Standing Bear Grizzlies        
        
		
             On Monday,  everything went the Lincoln Northwest Falcons's way against the Standing Bear Grizzlies as the Lincoln Northwest Falcons made off with  a  12-5 win. Considering the Falcons have won six games by more than six  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Kynzee McFadden and  Kenna Scribner made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound,  McFadden   didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Scribner   tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   four  hits. At bat,  McFadden  went 3-for-4 with three  doubles, four  RBI, and a  run, while  Scribner  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Lyrik Harris was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI, and three  runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career- in  hits. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tenley Root, who  went 2-for-4 with two  doubles and two  RBI.
 Lincoln Northwest's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-8. As for Standing Bear,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-9.
 Lincoln Northwest will face off against Hastings at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hastings will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  win, something Lincoln Northwest surely won't give up without a fight. As for Standing Bear, they will welcome Waverly  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Standing Bear is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4  runs per game  this season.
