Soccer Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge was the 3-1 winner over Travelers Rest when they last played one another on April 1st, but their luck changed this time around. The Fighting Tigers fell just short of the Devildogs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Blue Ridge just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Ella Vanzant, who's now up to 14 this season.

Blue Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Travelers Rest, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11.
