Volleyball Recap: Apex Friendship Comes Up Short

Apex Friendship was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Green Level Gators, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-7.

Caroline Smith paced Apex Friendship's offense, picking up eight kills. Smith got some help from Emma Mackie and her 11 assists. Teagan Mills controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Apex Friendship's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Green Level, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Apex Friendship wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Fuquay - Varina on the 6th. As for Green Level, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Apex on the 2nd.
