Football Recap: Lee-Scott Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lee-Scott Academy can now relate to. They were dealt a 38-0 defeat at the hands of the Montgomery Academy Eagles on Friday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Max Hammer threw for 63 yards on eight of 17 attempts.

Montgomery Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ali Nelson led the charge by rushing for 100 yards and three scores. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Nelson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid McBride, who threw for 194 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
