Volleyball Recap: Neodesha Gets the Win

Neodesha won the last time they faced Uniontown and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Streaks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Neodesha took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15.

Brooklyn Newland paced Neodesha's offense, picking up eight kills. Newland got some help from Allison Stover and her 11 assists. Hadly Carpenter controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Neodesha's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Uniontown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14-2.

Neodesha has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Cedar Vale/Dexter on the 27th. As for Uniontown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Erie on the 30th.
