Soccer Recap: Altamont Comes Up Short

Altamont's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Tuscaloosa Academy, falling 4-1. Altamont was not able to make up for their loss to Tuscaloosa Academy from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Altamont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Altamont will take on Gardendale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Altamont will need to watch out since Gardendale have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will square off against Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tuscaloosa Academy are on a three-game streak of home wins, Northridge a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
