Rossville has gone 9-1 against Frontier recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Rossville Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Frontier Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Rossville is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Faith Christian just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ava Burkle, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. She has become a key player for Rossville: the team is 8-1 when she posts at least eight rebounds, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Chloe Darnell, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Even though they lost, Rossville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Frontier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 52-37 to DeMotte Christian.

Rossville's record is now 12-6. As for Frontier, their record now sits at 1-16.

Everything came up roses for Rossville against Frontier in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 52-24 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rossville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
