Recap: North Henderson Knights vs. Travelers Rest Devildogs
The North Henderson Knights waltzed into their match Thursday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They took down Travelers Rest 69-53. For North Henderson, this counts as revenge for the 75-66 defeat Travelers Rest walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2018.
North Henderson found their leader in underclassman Noah Pierce, who scored 35 points along with four steals. The contest was Pierce's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Rowe, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
North Henderson pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Travelers Rest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
