Spring Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alijah Adem, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. The matchup was Adem's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Jordon Cosby was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Spring Valley's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-9. As for Liberty, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Spring Valley will be playing at home against Sierra Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sierra Vista's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests. As for Liberty, they will head out on the road to face off against Durango at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
