Softball Recap: Ozark Triumphs

While Ozark's victory against Green Forest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hillbillies skirted past the Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hillbillies have posted since March 10th.

The victory made it two in a row for Ozark and bumps their season record up to 8-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Green Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ozark will venture away from home to take on Alma at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Green Forest, they will challenge Huntsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
