West Monona won the last time they faced Kuemper and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Knights. Considering the Spartans have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

West Monona is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Kuemper, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

West Monona has already played their next contest (against Woodbine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kuemper, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-4 loss against Glidden-Ralston on the 14th.
