Volleyball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Takes a Loss

Benjamin Franklin suffered their biggest loss since November 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the John Curtis Christian Patriots. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Benjamin Franklin was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made John Curtis Christian work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-16.

Leading John Curtis Christian to victory were Mikaela Duncan and Caroline Naccari. Duncan had eight digs and three assists, while Naccari had eight digs and one assist. That's the most digs Naccari has posted over her last eight matches.

Benjamin Franklin's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10. As for John Curtis Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6.
