This season hasn't been kind to The King Mustangs, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They were beaten by Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial 65-7 on Friday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for King in their matchups with Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial: they've now lost seven in a row.
Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Billy White III, who threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. Another player making a difference was Noah Endres, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
King's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 5.4 points per game.
