Basketball Recap: Crow Creek Takes a Loss

Crow Creek was the 64-32 winner over Pine Ridge when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crow Creek Chieftains might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 69-63 to the Pine Ridge Thorpes, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crow Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Pine Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crow Creek will challenge Lakota Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pine Ridge, they will square off against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
