Softball Recap: Hill-Mccloy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Hill-McCloy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 18-0 to the Chesaning Indians on Wednesday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Chesaning has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hill-McCloy will host New Lothrop at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chesaning, they will take on Birch Run at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
