Softball Recap: Central Tigers vs. Poplar Bluff Mules
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Twin Rivers, Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Poplar Bluff Mules. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 15-9 loss the Mules walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September.
Central's record is now 5-18. As for Poplar Bluff, they dropped their record down to 6-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will face off against Neelyville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Poplar Bluff, they will square off against DeSoto at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
