Payton Thompson Delivers Electric Effort Vs Hall/Putnam County

Monmouth-Roseville picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Payton Thompson. Nobody could stop Thompson as he rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Monmouth-Roseville pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Thompson and Monmouth-Roseville will challenge Rockridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Etheridge Came Up Big in Princeton's 57-14 Victory

Casey Etheridge was a major factor in Princeton's victory over Mendota on Friday. Mendota had no answer to Etheridge as he rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Mendota's probably not too fond of Etheridge given he always seems to get the better of them. When Etheridge last faced the Trojans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

Nicholas Huston and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

Nicholas Huston was instrumental in extending Monmouth-Roseville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Huston was unstoppable, making six total tackles (3.0 for loss).

If the past is any indication, Huston could be in store for another big game when he takes on Rockridge on Saturday. When Huston last faced the Rockets back in September of 2023, he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made six total tackles.
