Burke County put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Johnson Panthers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Thursday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Burke County was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Cheyenne Queen, who had 16 assists. Those 16 assists gave her a new career-high. Ra'Shanna Heath also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Burke County's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Johnson, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Coincidentally, Burke County and Johnson will both be playing Davidson Fine Arts the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
