 Manitou Springs has been on the road for three straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Palmer Terrors at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
 Manitou Springs is headed into the  match fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Florence  a   23-0 shutout  on Saturday. Manitou Springs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight contests by seven  runs or more this season.
  Canon Feist was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Feist has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances.  Meanwhile, Palmer earned  a  10-6 win over Harrison  on Thursday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Palmer.
 Like Manitou Springs, Palmer also got a great game from a two-way player:  Zach Comer. Throwing,  Comer   tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Jackson Keating   tossed six innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   eight  hits. At bat,  Comer  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances, while  Keating  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Dyson Sharpton was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Conner Dozeman, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Manitou Springs is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record  this season. As for Palmer, their victory  ended  a  16-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 5-15.
