Football Recap: North Eugene Takes a Loss

North Eugene came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Churchill Lancers and fell 36-6. The loss continues a trend for the Highlanders in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost three in a row.

North Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Churchill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Eugene will face off against rival Crater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Churchill is set to challenge their familiar foe Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
