Volleyball Recap: Concordia Comes Up Short

Concordia lost against Clay Center back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

Concordia may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 12 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12.

Jaylin Roush paced Concordia's offense, picking up five kills. Roush got some help from Rylie Jessup and her six assists.

Concordia's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Clay Center, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-2.

Concordia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Abilene on the 7th. As for Clay Center, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Beloit on the 4th.
