Recap: KIPP Cooper Norcross vs. Westampton Tech Panthers
After a string of five wins, KIPP Cooper Norcross's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 40-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westampton Tech. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points KIPP Cooper Norcross has scored all season.
Westampton Tech's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexander Jeanty, who scored ten points along with three steals. Shakur Anderson was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 15 rebounds.
KIPP Cooper Norcross' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5. As for Westampton Tech, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14.
KIPP Cooper Norcross does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westampton Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Cinnaminson at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Cinnaminson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 407 points over their last six games.
