Ellington put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 79-71 victory over the Windsor Locks Raiders. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Raiders are ranked 113th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Windsor Locks lost, don't look at Sincere Monroe. Despite the final result, he went 14-for-35 on his way to 44 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That was a full 62% of Windsor Locks' points, marking the fourth time in a row Monroe has posted more than a third of the team's points. Jack Grasso was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Ellington pushed their record up to 19-0 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Windsor Locks, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
