St. Mary's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Trinity Christian. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matches by six runs or more this season.

Kingsley-Pierson typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Woodbury Central proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

St. Mary's pushed their record up to 21-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8 runs. As for Woodbury Central, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Everything went St. Mary's way against Woodbury Central when the teams last played back in July of 2023, as St. Mary's made off with a 10-3 win. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
