Volleyball Recap: Organ Mountain Knights vs. Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls
Organ Mountain was the 3-0 winner over Carlsbad when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Organ Mountain Knights fell just short of the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.
Organ Mountain took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-22, 19-25, 25-16, 15-8.
Despite the loss, Organ Mountain still got an impressive performance from Alexa Edmonson, who had nine digs.
Organ Mountain dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Carlsbad, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.
