Recap: Linden-McKinley Panthers vs. East Tigers
The Linden-McKinley Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season. Everything went their way against East on Tuesday as Linden-McKinley made off with a 54-29 victory. For Linden-McKinley, this counts as revenge for the 58-33 loss East walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Linden-McKinley found their leader in underclassman Christiana Towns, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 19 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Towns has scored at least 25% of Linden-McKinley's points. Another player making a difference was Ty'janae Mccarrel, who scored nine points along with nine steals.
Linden-McKinley's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for East, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
