Soccer Recap: Rocky River Comes Up Short

Rocky River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Charlotte Catholic Cougars. That's two games in a row now that Rocky River have lost by exactly nine goals.

Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-2. As for Charlotte Catholic, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0-1.

Coming up, Rocky River will head out on the road to square off against Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charlotte Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Myers Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Myers Park will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Charlotte Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
