Softball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was the 15-10 winner over Tygarts Valley when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Lumberjacks came up short against the Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 15-3.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Tygarts Valley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Looking ahead, Valley will host Frontier at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 0.6 runs per game this season, so the Lumberjacks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Tygarts Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
