Eagles return seven contributors from state semifinal squad looking for conquer Georgia 7A division.

No. 22 Milton returns seven of the top eight contributors from last year's AAAAAAA state semifinal team and begins the 2020-21 campaign as the top-rated squad from the Peach State.

First-team MaxPreps Sophomore All-American Bruce Thornton and third-team MaxPreps Freshman All-American Kanaan Carlyle guide a talented backcourt that includes Devin Farrell and West Forsyth transfer Broc Bidwell, who has produced over 1,000 career points.

A deep frontcourt features Maurice Clipper and Lebbeus Overton along with four-star Meadowcreek transfer Kendall Campbell and 6-foot-7 senior forward Fisher Finley, who returns after injuries derailed his junior season.

Wheeler (Marietta), Grayson (Loganville), Sandy Creek (Tyrone), Pace Academy (Atlanta) are among the teams with a chance to challenge the Eagles (26-5) in a deep and unpredictable Georgia hardwood landscape.

Along with a challenging in-state schedule, the Milton faces out-of-state showdowns including No. 10 DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) and Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, N.C.), along with a trip to the Beach Ball Classic.
