Platte Valley is a perfect 10-0 against Valley since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Broncos will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Platte Valley, who comes in off a win.

Platte Valley is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Forge Christian. The Broncos walked away with a 43-36 victory over the Fury on Tuesday. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Fury recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Platte Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyra Jessop led the charge by dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Jessop a new career-high in shooting accuracy (60%). Addy Grossnickle was another key player, putting up six points and seven steals.

Meanwhile, Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 55-18 loss at the hands of Liberty Common. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered against the Eagles since February 15, 2019.

Platte Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 44-31. Do the Broncos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
