Tanner Solarczyk ran for five touchdowns to lift
Richland (Johnstown, Pa.) to a 51-23 defeat over
Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, Pa.). The scores gave the junior 15 touchdowns for the year.
The Rams were up 14-3 at the half after taking the lead on a Solarczyk touchdown run in the first quarter.
Richland expanded its lead to 14 points entering the fourth quarter. RHS scored five times in the third, including once on a touchdown run.
A 14-point fourth quarter was enough to cement the win for the Rams, as they pushed the final margin of victory to 28.
Richland also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 41-8.
In a Laurel Highlands game next week Richland (7-0) takes on Penn Cambria, and Westmont Hilltop (1-6) will go up against Bishop Guilfoyle also in a Laurel Highlands game.
