Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collinsville). They were the clear victors by a 49-27 margin over the Lindsay Knights on Friday. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Collinsville's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Lindsay, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Collinsville and Lindsay should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Pirates (ranked 407th) will meet Era (ranked 878th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lindsay will square off against Chico at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (513 vs. 1182).
