Shiloh Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 49-12 win over the Hazen Bison. With the Skyhawks ahead 41-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Cole McClennen went supernova, rushing for 76 yards and four scores on only nine carries, while also picking up 31 receiving yards and one TD. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Shiloh Christian proved: they limited Hazen to a paltry 1.9 yards per carry. The Skyhawks didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.1.
