Memorial has gone 10-0 against Northbrook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Memorial Mustangs will look to defend their home court against the Northbrook Raiders at 12:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Memorial and three for Northbrook.

Memorial's tournament run continued when they took on Marcus on Thursday. Memorial took a 60-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marcus. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 646th, while the Marauders are ranked 36th).

Meanwhile, Northbrook ended up a good deal behind Cypress Ridge two weeks ago and lost 77-58.

Northbrook's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Memorial took their win against Northbrook in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 51-27. Does Memorial have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northbrook turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
