Volleyball Recap: Red Springs Takes a Loss

Red Springs lost against Fairmont back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Tornadoes.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 20-25, 25-17.

Fairmont found their leader in sophomore Jerrian Taylor, who had 30 digs and one assist. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Red Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Fairmont, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.

Red Springs has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against South Brunswick on the 24th. As for Fairmont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against East Columbus on the 24th.
