Softball Recap: Lincoln-Sudbury Takes Down Franklin in a Playoff Battle

Lincoln-Sudbury extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Franklin. They never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly two runs.

Lincoln-Sudbury has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Franklin, they moved to 9-12-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Lincoln-Sudbury will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
