Governor's School for Science & Math had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Lee Central on Thursday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Stallions with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won four in a row.

Governor's School for Science & Math not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lee Central between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.

Hannah Swinton paced Governor's School for Science & Math's offense, picking up ten kills. Swinton got some help from Kambell Summers and her 13 assists. Elon Mack controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Governor's School for Science & Math's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Lee Central, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Governor's School for Science & Math will head out to challenge Virtus Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Lee Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
