Soccer Recap: Marathon Takes a Loss

Marathon lost against Coral Shores back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Marathon Dolphins came up short against the Coral Shores Hurricanes, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, the Dolphins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 178th).

Marathon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Coral Shores, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

As of now, neither Marathon nor Coral Shores have any future games scheduled.
